Responsibility agreement

SUMA is a link between the giver and the project. We verify the organization, present the project live, follow up and publish what happens with every gift. Carrying out the project is the organization's responsibility, not SUMA's.

What SUMA does

Verifies organizations before they go on air: documents, a video call with their representative and screening against sanctions lists.
Presents each project live with its goal, its clock and its counter, and applies the all-or-nothing rule: if the goal isn't reached, no gift is charged.
Follows up after the show: delivery of funds in tranches against evidence, project updates, an impact report with photos and invoices, and a certificate for every giver.
Publishes what it knows, when it knows it. If an organization doesn't report, it doesn't go on air again.

What SUMA is not

SUMA doesn't carry out the projects. The organization that applies is solely responsible for carrying them out as presented.
SUMA doesn't guarantee that a project will materialize, nor its timeline, nor its results. It follows up and reports, but it doesn't answer for the organization.
SUMA is not a bank or an investment fund. A gift is a voluntary donation, without consideration or refund, unless the project doesn't reach its goal (in which case nobody pays).

What the giver accepts

That they give voluntarily and with their own money, being of legal age.
That they understand the all-or-nothing rule: their gift is reserved while the clock runs and only charged if the project reaches its goal.
That responsibility for carrying out the project lies with the organization, and that SUMA answers only for its own work: verifying, presenting, following up and publishing.
That they can report any irregularity at SUMA → Report, and that SUMA investigates and acts (including suspending the organization) but can't guarantee the recovery of a gift already delivered.

Data and changes

Account data is used for the account, notices and the certificate. The full privacy policy is published before the first charge.
SUMA may update this agreement. Every version is dated; the version accepted by each person is recorded.
